Project overview: Collie Battery Energy Storage system (BESS) WA 

⚡ HV Cable Installation: Installed 25km of 1C 630mm² 33kV copper cable across the site, with single cable runs reaching up to 700m. 

 

🛞 Heavy-Duty Cable Handling: Managed complex roller systems and utilised Greenlee feeders alongside Neumann Equipment and Redmond Gary winches to safely haul and install heavy drums across varied terrain. 

 

🔋 Part of CBESS 1 Development: Delivered under the 330kV Switchyard Package as part of a contract variation to the Balance of Plant Contract with Synergy. This contributes to the broader 500 MW / 2000 MWh Collie Battery Energy Storage System (CBESS 1), a nationally significant project announced to the ASX on 6 May 2024.
